How it works

Some outgoing "Check availability" links are affiliate links to booking platforms. If you book after clicking one, the platform may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Links to Recreation.gov and other government-run reservation systems are not affiliate links.

What this does not affect

• The Camping Points Score. Scoring uses the same weighted model for every site.
• Ranking order in explore and category pages.
• Which campgrounds we cover.
• Anything we write in the "Why it scores this way" section.

Why we disclose

Because you deserve to know when money changes hands. Editorial trust is the entire product.
